District and campus leaders in Bellevue say the change reflects months of planning and input from families, faculty, and students.
"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and people are already noticing the difference," said Megan Walker, college spokesperson in Bellevue.
The plan affects roughly 2432 students this year, with additional phases expected over the next 2 to 3 school years. Officials say funding is already in place for the first phase.

Families can find updates and opportunities to comment through the district's official channels in the weeks ahead.
