The update adds to a string of recent economic developments across Issaquah, part of a broader trend reshaping local balance sheets this year.
"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and people are already noticing the difference," said Brian Silva, chamber of commerce director in Issaquah.
Analysts point to Issaquah's expanding workforce and comparatively steady cost of doing business relative to Seattle's core. The shift is expected to affect roughly 51 million dollars in local economic activity over the next two years, according to figures reviewed by the Evergreen Ledger.

Local officials say they will continue tracking the impact on jobs and tax revenue in the months ahead.
