Capitol Region College Expands Nursing Program Capacity

District and campus leaders in Olympia say the change reflects months of planning and input from families, faculty, and students.

"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and people are already noticing the difference," said Daniel Nguyen, superintendent in Olympia.

The plan affects roughly 2555 students this year, with additional phases expected over the next 2 to 3 school years. Officials say funding is already in place for the first phase.
