Rainier Valley College Expands Trades Apprenticeship Program

District and campus leaders in Puyallup say the change reflects months of planning and input from families, faculty, and students.

"This is something our community has been asking for, and we're glad to finally see it come together," said Jennifer Martin, school principal in Puyallup.

The plan affects roughly 3006 students this year, with additional phases expected over the next 1 to 2 school years. Officials say funding is already in place for the first phase.
