Blue Mountain College Adds Viticulture Degree Track

District and campus leaders in Walla Walla say the change reflects months of planning and input from families, faculty, and students.

"This is something our community has been asking for, and we're glad to finally see it come together," said Robert Jackson, program director in Walla Walla.

The plan affects roughly 2883 students this year, with additional phases expected over the next 1 to 2 school years. Officials say funding is already in place for the first phase.
