The news comes as wellness businesses across Yakima report steady demand from longtime regulars and a growing number of newcomers drawn to the Puget Sound lifestyle.
"It's a big step forward for Yakima, and it wouldn't have happened without a lot of people pulling in the same direction," said Brian Silva, licensed esthetician.
Staff say appointment requests have climbed roughly 21 percent since word spread locally. The business currently employs 14 licensed practitioners and plans to add more positions if demand keeps pace.
