Yakima Valley Medical Center Expands Rural Outreach Program

Health officials in Yakima say the move is meant to keep pace with a fast-growing population and rising demand for local care.
"We've put a lot of work into getting this right, and people are already noticing the difference," said Tyler Moore, nursing director in Yakima.
The expansion is expected to add roughly 39 new positions, including clinical and support staff, and comes as regional population growth pushes demand for care to record levels.
